We treat it the same as normal co-working. Invite the writers to the same link. Each writer will be able to choose their language, and contribute captions in that language. Line21 will detect the language input and allocate to the correct output for the viewer.

Yes, Line21 is an internet based software for virtual and hybrid audiences everywhere. You can use Line 21 for in-person events, but you still need internet to make it work. We distribute, translate and proofread captions automatically using a network of services that require internet access.

Closed captions can be turned on and off in a video player. Open captions cannot be turned off. They are usually burned into the video itself.

You can download your transcript as an .SRT or .VTT file and upload it to your chosen platform.

At this time, we are not providing an offline platform. Line 21 requires internet to operate, even when used for an in-person event.
